No, not angry-mad ... happy-mad ... like crazy! Six layouts in just over two weeks, and each with a progressively more difficult challenge attached to it. It started with me discovering my embellishment nemesis - eyelets - and finishing with a layout that had 15 individual challenge items to be included, the least of which was using a total of 15 kits from six designers, no more, no less. Phew. If you're not sure what I've been doing, it's this:
At the end of Round #6, there was me and twenty-four other brave souls who made it through all the challenges ... wow! Our incentive (other than the challenge of doing, well, the challenges LOL) was a really great prize at the end: a chance to win a copy of Adobe Lightroom. I have this software already, and love it! I'm not eligible for the prize, since I'm a Decorator at Design House Digital, but all the other competitors are! Wanna help pick the winner? Voting is open - you can vote once each day - voting closes at 11:59pm MT on Friday, April 6. As a bonus, each time you vote, YOUR name will be entered into a random drawing for a class at ReneePearson.com - can we say awesome?! I've taken two classes already with Tiffany Tillman, and learned quite a bit.
Here are the pages I've been working on the past couple of weeks:
And, for a little change of pace, here's a sneak peek of a few things that Jen Martakis has coming out next week:
Okay, after all those challenges 'n' such, I'm in a "I just wanna scrap" kind of mood ... art journaling, here I come. :)
